Exposing the wizards behind PromptCloud
The only thing that Sukesh Chande lacks is a halo above his head to signify the happiness and positivity being spread by him in the office. Even while dealing with tight schedules and stressful client meetings, he seems unaffected and cheerful as a child. With a ready to help attitude and resourcefulness that he’s gifted with, Sukesh makes team PromptCloud dynamic. When he’s not busy managing the sales activities, you might find him partying in some club around the country or traveling, in which case you wouldn’t find him at all. We tried to find out his secrets to being so happy and cheerful all the time, and here’s how it went.
Q. Tell us something about yourself
Just as Robert Downey Jr. has described himself: “You know who I am!”
Just in case you do not know who I am:
- The compliment people give me most frequently is A happy person with a positive outlook in life.[spacer height=”10px”]
- The quotation I live my life by is “Being Challenged in Life is Inevitable; Being Defeated is Optional!”

So… Think of a positive person who cherishes being challenged!
Q. What do you like to do when you’re away from work?
A variety of things with my favorite being getting lost in an unknown city (in a different country) and trying to explore and find my way back at the same time. The thrill of the unknown gives me an adrenaline rush. I love to party and dance my troubles away especially when an EDM artist is performing. As expected, I’m not into fitness. I only work out when I’m motivated (for about 1 hour, 5 days a week). Last, but by no means the least, I spend about 30 mins a day taking care of my beard.
Q. What would you rather give up, partying, or your beard?
Partying… No, wait. Beard… No, wait… Partying… Nope… Can’t decide…
This is a tough one. Similar to Joey’s answer to a similar dilemma in F.R.I.E.N.D.S, I’ll party with my beard on. If the situation comes down to clubs not allowing bearded men, I’ll start my club and make it the best in the country!
Q. If your house was burning down, what’s the one non-living thing you would save?
One-thing? Tough one. I guess I’ll dump the following items in a polybag and throw it in my Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein Jar (that would still count as one thing right? 😀
Beard Wash, Beard Oil, Beard Softener, Beard Wax!
No need to mention Royal Enfield Boots and Leather Jacket as I’ll be wearing those.
Q. What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
The fact that this role is quite challenging. While many confuse challenging with hectic, this role isn’t hectic nor is it mindless working. But it’s quite challenging. It’s never been about putting in extra hours or being overloaded with work. But what matters is the quality of work. So in the end, when I manage to connect with our customers and help them with their problems, I have a sense of achievement; an adrenaline rush which I believe is the most important thing in any aspect of life.
Q. Do you have any advice for aspiring sales enthusiasts?
Keep learning. Keep improving. Keep moving forward.
There is never a sure-shot way of achieving a sale. Every interaction with a prospect is an experience. While some negative responses might appear to bog you down, do not let them. Like Sylvester Stallone says in Rocky: You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life, but it ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done”.
Keep. Moving. Forward.
